How long does epoxy flooring last?

Lifespan comes down to two things more than any other factor: how the concrete was prepared and how thick the coating was built up for the job. Get both right and a properly installed epoxy floor will run 10 to 20 years under normal residential or commercial use. Skip the grinding stage, or apply a coating too thin for the traffic it carries, and even a quality resin can lift or wear through within a year.
